Cookie Policy
Effective date: 4 September 2026 · Last updated: 4 September 2026
This page lists everything this website stores in your browser — cookies and local storage alike — what each one is for and how long it lasts. It is the real list, not a generic template: if it is not here, we do not set it.
Your choice
When you first arrive you are asked whether you accept measurement. Nothing in the "measurement" category is stored until you say yes, and if you say no, nothing is stored at all beyond the strictly necessary items below. You can change your mind at any time:
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, and they do not track you across other websites.
| Name | Where | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
ss_cookie_consent |
Cookie, set by this site | Remembers the choice you made about cookies, so you are not asked again on every page. | 12 months |
PHPSESSID |
Cookie, set by this site | The technical session that lets the server hand you consecutive pages. It holds no personal data. | Until you close the browser |
Measurement — only if you accept
These tell us where visitors came from, so we know which of our efforts are worth repeating. They are written by the form script of the SpeakSite platform, which runs this website. If you have not accepted, they are never written.
| Name | Where | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ss_tracking |
Local storage | The origin of your visit: the site that referred you, the page you landed on,
how many times you have visited, and campaign parameters
(utm_*, gclid, fbclid and similar) if
they were in the link you followed. |
30 days |
_ss_session |
Session storage | Marks that this browsing session has already been counted, so one visit is not counted several times. | Until you close the tab |
Advertising
None. This website sets no advertising or retargeting cookies, and there is no advertising pixel on any page. The "marketing" switch in the preferences panel is there because the panel is shared across the platform; today there is nothing behind it on this site.
Third parties
The typeface used on this site is served by Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google does not
set a cookie for this, but it does receive your IP address as part of the request, the
same as any file your browser downloads from another server. No other third party
receives anything from these pages.
How to remove them yourself
Every browser lets you delete cookies and local storage for a single site — usually
under Settings → Privacy → Site data. Deleting ss_cookie_consent means the
banner will ask you again on your next visit.
More
What we do with the information you send us through the forms is a separate matter, and it is set out in the privacy policy.
